Along with co-owner Tom Frederick, Rick Lott leads the strategic direction and overall vision for Zymphony Technology Solutions. With over 25 years as a corporate and community leader, Rick provides the vision to realize the company’s mission of providing world class IT solutions and services for our clients.
As a fourth generation Plant City native, Rick began his career at Danka in 1980 as a copier tank cleaner. Over the years, he was promoted to many leadership positions including Vice President of the Central US and Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. In 1996, he combined his considerable industry expertise with Tom Frederick to launch Zeno Office Solutions, a premier provider of copier, print and back office solutions. Under his executive leadership, Zeno grew to over 360 employees and $65 million in revenue and was acquired by Xerox in 2013.
A lifetime entrepreneur, Rick has co-founded successful organizations such as Matrix Medical, Benefit Resources Group and Oracle Home Health. Today, Rick turns his passion and dedication to Zymphony Technology Solutions to drive the next generation of innovative solutions in the IT industry. As a leading provider of IT products and services, Zymphony Technology Solutions combines best of breed technology solutions with the high touch personalization of a world class services firm.
Deeply committed to community service and advocacy, Rick served three terms as Mayor of Plant City and continues his involvement as a City Commissioner serving from 2003 to the present. During his tenure, he has served on the High Speed Rail Commission, the Hillsborough County Transportation Task Force and the State of Florida Economic Development Committee with Jeb Bush. Currently, Rick sits on the Plant City Metropolitan Planning Board, The YMCA Board and is Chair of the Plant City Chamber of Commerce. Rick is currently married and resides in Plant City with his wife and 4 children.
